The Return of a Sheffield Favourite: Our Famous Christmas Burrito 🎄

It wouldn’t be December at The Street Food Chef without the return of our legendary Christmas Burrito — a festive feast that’s been our best-selling special since 2010! Every year, customers wait for it, crave it, and celebrate its arrival — and we can’t blame them.

This burrito is Christmas dinner, Mexican-style — and it’s absolutely packed with seasonal flavour and holiday cheer.

What’s Inside the Christmas Burrito?

We’ve taken all the best bits of Christmas dinner and wrapped them up, Street Food Chef style.
Each burrito comes loaded with:

  • Mole turkey – tender, juicy, and full of festive flavour. (This does contain nuts.)

  • Fried potatoes-chopped in into little squares and double that.

  • Crispy bacon stuffing – rich and savoury, with that classic Christmas aroma.

  • Cranberry and picante prune salsa – a perfect sweet and spicy twist that ties it all together.

  • Black beans – for warmth, texture, and a touch of authenticity.

  • Fresh lettuce and pico de gallo – for crunch and freshness.

  • Pickled red onion- marinated overnight in lime and orange juice

  • Sour cream or chipotle mayo – your choice of creamy finish to bring it all home.

Every bite is a blend of sweet, savoury, smoky, and spicy — Christmas comfort food with a Mexican kick.

Wrapped with a Festive Touch

We’ve even dressed it for the season: your Christmas Burrito comes wrapped in a red napkin and sealed with a special Christmas sticker — a small detail that makes it feel as good as it tastes.

A Sheffield Christmas Tradition

For us, this burrito isn’t just food — it’s a part of our story. Since 2010, it’s been the dish that brings smiles, sparks memories, and fills the city with festive flavour. Whether you’re grabbing lunch on your break or treating yourself after a day of Christmas shopping, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season.

Fresh, hearty, and full of Christmas spirit — the Christmas Burrito is back.

Come and get yours while it lasts. 🎅
